Day 2 - Roncesvalles - Larasoanna

Weather - drizzly and cold, later turning to steady rain.
Track - treacherous, slippery and muddy in parts.
We began the journey out of Roncesvalles after a quick breakfast in one of the local bars.
The track was steep at first but then leveled off for a while. The rain made it all the more slippery wet and muddy and therefore slowed us down somewhat. We finally reached Zubiri, where we had planned to stay but the preferred albergue was full.
So we decided to soldier on to Larasoanna a further 5.5 kms away! Of course it rained all the way.
We reached Larasoanna, tired wet and hungry.
We stayed in a pension, which is a bit more upmarket, but was worth the extra few euros for the peace and quiet.
Had pilgrims dinner at a local cafe with some new found Camino friends and then had a relatively early night.
